Pittsburgh based Dennis Restrepo has been prolific since the turn of the century, collaborating with such names as Joe Henderson, Glen Danes and Dennis Brown. Now he’s put his intimate side into musical production and eschewed the trappings of a touring band to craft a modest collection of tunes that gathers just past an hour of music.

"Songs For Electric Guitar" is a personal story telling exercise rather than a performative one, taking its cues from restful, subjective memories of music playing in the car or someone’s mind when driving with a bottle in one hand and a book in the other.
