The A side is the Cordelia album that Switzerland's Christian Ploehr aka The Embodiment of Progressive Ideals joined for a brief UK residency in 2017. The B side is a collaboration with Cordelia fansite Sparks Fly, British slang writer/Radio 4 DJ Matt London and US ska/rock/dub mastermind Joey Baron, all of whom have had a hand in the early days of UK Black Metal. The result is a hybrid that's both mean and strange, with the oddity of it being about kosmische and the oddness of it featuring a Kinks MC (Ozzy's gothic lilt fits the bill perfectly). It's also very much like a jazz or soulful take on the group's later, more melodic period, with Ploehr getting his mystic jouissance from the echoing outro of twin guitar.
