Ric & Bigs
Don’t Tell On Me

Back in the early 1990s, Ric & Bigs were a duo with two 8-bit consoles, a sampler and a few singles on their way to becoming one of the greatest bands in New York’s reggae history. Their debut album was a peak, their catalogue expanded to include hits with guest vocalists, but their game-changing singles didn’t make the cut. A curious choice.

Now, having mastered the art of throat-singing, they return to it for the second time to share their crown with an ancient and popular competitor – The Whites. With a mixture of East And West Coast styles and a light sprinkling of vintage Whammy, this is their third album to date. Highlights include the tense and atmospheric Yo-Diddley featuring Joey Badbonez, a tribute to "The Dukes of Hazzard" and the beautifully raw "So Good, So Right" featuring La Hackney, and the beautifully mellow "You Have To Talk About It" featuring Jere Hone.
