Drummond Games is a duo between drummer Xavier Craig and bassist Rodney Stark, who also created the electronic music unit Drummond. Dubbed "reggae", the duo’s music is inspired by the culture of southern and western US music, including the more abstract and melodic styles of Jamaican reggae. "Drummond Games" is based on a single set of drum machines, each spinning a rhythmic pattern of drum rolls and muting tones until an accompanying melody emerges. Drummond Games is not for the faint of heart, but it’s fun, and it’s easy to get pumped up by the sound of it, which is backed by a mighty bassline.
